My life is ruined...
While browsing over Dark Horizons dot com last night, I accidently saw some "spoiler" pictures concerning Star Wars Episode III. They weren't really spoiler pics, but they revealed parts in the movie I would have rather been surprised about. Oh well...I'm sure the movie will still be cool.
Anyway, back to non-geekish things. This weekend was fun. A full post is really not on my to-do list right now, but here's a brief summary:
Friday - Went down to Mansfield to hang out with Tom. Got Mina, played a lot of MarioKart, and we talked about the movie. We have decided on a horror film, and we have some very good ideas floating around. Hopefully, you will be seeing our work of art at a theater near you sometime within the next 3-5 years.
I crashed there for the night.
Saturday - The morning consisted of Tom and I meeting up with Meg Potenti, Amanda, Cheryl, and Coady for some brunch at Perri's. That was a fun time. It was nice seeing all of them again. Hopefully, we can get together again soon.
From there, Tom and I headed to the St. One Hill bookstore to look around. We parted ways from there, and I returned home. Got a call from Meg during the trip (didn't get the message til I got home) seein if I wanted to go back down there for a movie night at Janie's. While the offer was tempting, I had to pass due to previous plans.
So, chilled a bit at home, then went to Jamie's to get Erich for our movie plans. Interupted...stuff...between them. Haha. Erich and I took off to see Sin City. I must say that I am still out on the movie. It was good, the art direction was excellent, and I overall enjoyed the viewing. However, the extreme focus on genital mutilation kinda of threw me off a little bit. I'd say 4 out of 5 stars, and possibly worth seeing again to pick up on the more subtle points in the film.
After the movies we went to Jamies, had some beeahs, and chilled out for a few. Took Erich home, and came here to crash.
Sunday (aka Today) - Woke up, ran some errands, bumped into Jamie, Krissy, and Molly at CVS, then headed to Dad's for his b-day. Did that whole deal, chilled for the afternoon/evening, and yeah...that was it. Now, I am here.
This week is interviews and such, then the Aquarium on Friday, which should be a blast! Otherwise, here is somethin to take up your time til the next update.
