To follow-up on my last entry, yes I still hate my job. Moving on.
Friday was a good time. After work I came back here, showered, and then headed over to Kayla's. We went to this little italian place in Tewksbury called Capillini's. The food was really good...some of the best italian I have had in a long time actually. A nice little place.
From there we headed in to the city. Got in and parked, and realized we had a half hour before we had to be at the theater. So, we did what anyone would do with time to spare in the North End - we visited Ski. LOL. It was cool...we just went to his place and chatted for a while, and he proceeded to make fun of us for eating at an italian place in Tewksbury when we were coming to the North End of Boston. To justify, we figured everywhere would be packed in the North End (which was as far from the truth as we could possibly get). Anyway, it was good to see him.
We left his place so he could continue his studies and made our way over to the Improv Asylum, which turned out to be extremely funny! I had seen one before at the dorchester locale, and I wasn't overly impressed. But the one on Friday was really good, especially when they were picking on Doug (aka Patrick) because it was his birthday. "I will slap you with my dick!" Haha...classic!
After that, Kayla and I were both dead tired, so we headed back. It was a great night with some great planning done on Kayla's part, even if she did have to inquire with co-workers.
Yesterday was also a good day. Got up way too early so I could drive my ass down to Mansfield. Got to Tom's, and from there we headed to this place in Attleboro to meet up with Sarah. We got a little turned around, and were looking for entirely different place (we thought it was Dave's Place, but it was really Babe's Place). Finally got there, presented Sarah with her #1 Babe sitcker (lol) and we chatted and ate. The food was good, aside from the tap water and the hot dog-like sausages.
I had mentioned that I was going to stop by Stonehill to hit the bookstore. Sarah said she needed to as well, and Tom had to look for a book. So, off we went (after Sarah made a pit stop). Going to Stonehill was just friggin weird. I mean, I've been to campus since I graduated, but I had never really been there since classes started (minus the alumni function in Decemeber, but that doesn't count). So, yeah, we were all feeling a little weird, in a "I feel like I'm gonna barf/getting the chills" type of way. Anyway, I ran into a few people in the store (Griff, Tracy, and Ashley). It was good to see all of them and catch up a little, even though I'm sure a couple of them were less than thrilled to see me. I ended up buying a new sweatshirt and Angels and Demons. I know, I know...but Eddie, I thought you hate to read? I do, but I've heard so much about these Dan Brown books that I am curious as to what the hype is about.
We all parted ways after that. But it was good to hang out with the both of them again. We don't get to hang out as much now that Sarah is down in NJ, so its nice to have a day spent with them, just like the old days. LOL.
Last night I did nothing, because I was dead tired. So, I shopped online. LOL. I acutally made my first purchases at Urban Outfitters. I never shopped there before simply because their prices are a little high, but I splurged last night and bought these:
There was also a Killers shirt and another irish-themed shirt I wanted to get, but I will save those for another rainy day. I also saw a nice button shirt I wanted to get, but, again...for a rainy day.
Today is the Superbowl. Woot. It should be a good game. I'm heading over to Jamie's for at least part of the game, because she is having some people over. Kayla might come along as well, which would be fun! My mom is making a ton of food though, so I'd feel bad if I didn't watch at least some of the game here. No worries...I'll have it figured by game-time. I might be getting brunch with Kayla today as well, so I guess I should go shower in case that happens. Til next time.
