So, as you can see, iPod is not compatible with Windows ME, which has infected 2/3 of our available computers. The third of those is running Windows 2000, which is the snob of the Windows family and is ONLY file-transfer/direct connect compatible with other computers running Windows 2000. Excellent. So, what does this mean in the vernacular? Simply put, I have 900+ mp3s that I currently cannot put into my brand new iPod, as well as no way to get NEW mp3s into my brand new iPod. So what I actually have is a $300 paperweight on my hands. Beautiful.
So, other than all of that shit, the holiday weekend was decent. Not ready to sit down and rehash all 4 days, but in short it was good. Saw friends and family, got some cool presents (inlcuding aforementioned iPod), gave some cool presents, and basically just tried to enjoy the weekend. Yes, some of it was tough, but we all pulled through. We know she is always with us, and is happy where she is now. Had a white russian just for her.
Today at work was DEAD and boring. Due to the wonderful snow we received, only 18 out of 70 people were in work today. Woot. The rest of the week will be more of the same boredom. Might be chillin with Kim for a bit on Wednesday night. NYE is, as of now, a big fat question mark. I actually have only been invited to one place thus far (thanks Kim...F-U to everyone else). The places that were expected to extend an invite have yet to do so. Makes me feel special. I may just sit at home actually, depending on my mood. Just not in a party-type mind frame lately. The rest of the weekend is still up in the air, so its not even really worth posting about yet. I'll update again when those plans are finalized.
I guess that's it for now. However, if I don't post again, I just want to extend a large good luck to Jim! We'll all be thinking of you, and we'll see you in 5 months! Don't forget to write!
