Beats me...you think of something witty to put here!!

So, this week has been prett uneventful for the most part. I bought tix to the Snow Patrol earlier in the week (with what money you ask?? goooood question!). Ski has agreed to attend the show with me, which is pretty dern cool.

Not sure why, but earlier this week I decided to reconnect with a ton of old friends that I haven't talked to in months/years. It felt cool to be able to chat with these people, and make tentative plans with some. Quite nice, really.

Other than that, it was a pretty boring week...just work and doing nothing.

However, tonight was a good time. Tommy called yesterday and asked if I was avail. to go to the Pats game tonight. I thought I was working, but turns out I was wrong, so I agreed to go. He got the tix through his roomie, who works for the Pats and was unable to use the tix since he works during the games (weird).
So, ran a couple errands first. Grabbed my B-Way check to find out that I am being paid a mere 7.50 and hour. Odd since I had been getting 8.00/hour since last summer. I told Dan, and he told me to just bring in an old stubb and he'd take care of it.
After a stop at the bank, I took off. I was a bit confused though...I thought I had taken a wrong turn into a narrow parking lot...but no. It was good ole Rt. 95, which was stop and go traffic from Rt. 3 AAAALLLLLL the way down to the Braintree Split. I shit you not. The average speed was somewhere in the teens or low 20's. A trip that should take me 30 minutes took me almost 2 hours!!! Friggin nuts! There were no real reasons for the pile-ups either...just dumb MA drivers I guess.
FINALLY got to Tom's and we left for the game...paid for parking, then walked a mile to the stadium. The seats were...alright. They were on the third deck, but low to the bottom. Still high, but not too shabby. At half time, we left our seats to go find Amanda, Tina, and Andrea, who were all at the game as well. Found them and talked basically the whole 2nd half (well, Amanda and Tom talked while the three of us stood around). The game was decent, but the Pats lost (eh...preseason).
After the game, we decided Mina's sounded good. We drove to Easton, and picked up the food. Got to Tom's and ate/watch Curb Your Enthusiasm (has its funny moments, but not the best show I've ever seen)/played MarioKart and Bond (ahhh freshman/soph. year!). I wasn't feelin too hot after the Mina's, but I figured it would pass. No. It didn't. On my way home I had to pull over in Waltham and let the Mina's make a not-so-glorious exit out the way it came in. I did feel better after that though, which is good. Got home, and now I am here.

This weekend was full of funness with a certain someone, but those plans were nixed (sonova...). So, now, its just work. However, this will just make the next time even sweeter...no worries! ;o)
