Ahoy-hoy

Hello Everyone:

I bet you all thought that I dropped off the face of the earth, well I haven't :P. It has been a really long time since I did a real update (November 2006), and even though no one reads this thing, I'm gonna update.

November 2006 - December 31, 2006
End of the year, don't remember it all too much, not because of drinking though. I managed to pass all my classes, and was fully on track to graduate in May 2007.

January 2007
Started off by going back to UWW to work at the University Center (UC). I did a bunch of webmaster work, finished up alot of stuff that needed to get finished, and started work on something that really needed to get done.

What I finished up was alot of work to the Building Project portion of the website.

What I started was creating common headers and footers for the different sections of the UC website. This doesn't mean much to all of you, but to web developers it means alot.

Started my classes, and all was good. The classes I chose this time around were:
Math 254 - Calc 2
Physics 172 - Introduction to Physics
Music 210 - Survey of African American Music (SAAM)
Management 310 - Organization and Management

Soon after the semester started I got a letter from the school saying that I needed to talk to the dean of my minor about some issues. I was rather confused since I didn't know of any problems.

As it turns out I am 0.002 off from my Minor GPA. I thought I had that covered by retaking Math 254. It then turns out that there is some clause somewhere in the Whitewater handbook that says you can't retake a class for a grade change after you have taken a class level higher then that. Now, being a Math minor, I have definitly taken classes above Math 254. So now I had to sub in a new class and get a B in that class in order to graduate. No problem, I'll take Mathematical Modeling of DNA (good class by the way).

February 2007
Went off like a regular February, meaning I gave my anual "Happy Suicide Day" entry. The only differences this time were an edit to the entry and all previous entries, and the fact that I actually took the chance to do Valentines Day right for a change.

March 2007
March holds my birthday, so it is always slightly annoying. Though things got an upside, Katie Wenninger's birthday is one day before mine. So her and Heather (My girlfriend) found this deal at a bar called the Longbranch in Whitewater. The idea is that if you can guess the night that the bar has the biggest amount of business, you win $1,000. We still don't know who won, since the promotion is apperently still going. I also took a job offer at a company called Pronto Progress at this time, but more on that later in this update.

April 2007
St. Patrick's Day, I was at the bars for open so that I could drink green beer and other green beverages, that's about it.

May 2007
Graduation was approaching, and I began to notice that I was spending at least 2 hours a night on Physics. This slightly bothered me since I took the lowest level physics course that I could. If that is the amount of work I have to do for Introduction to Physics, I don't want to know how much work you have to do to be a Physics Major.

The day finally came for me to graduate. Sitting through the 3 hour event wasn't all that bad. Our keynote speaker was great, he joked the whole time, and made it fun. Our Valditorian is about 1 step away from a mental breakdown. To put that in perspective: she's a 4.0 Accounting and Finance Dual major, Pres or Vice Pres of 3 different orgs, been on 3 different committees as a head member, and in a sorority.

Started working at Pronto Progress and soon found out that I shouldn't have accepted a job that quickly, the information that they had supplied upon hiring me was lacking alot of information, so I left Pronto.

June2007
Been looking for a new job, have a prospect interview tomorrow and Wednesday, so we'll see what happens with that.

On a higher note, my grad party is this coming Saturday, so I'll get to see everyone and have some fun.

Ok, I've probably bored you all to death again, so I'll just be going again, and maybe this time I'll make more frequent updates....yeah, right.

big update
