Quick update on this summer
Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I last posted. I've been in Salem, Oregon for 9 weeks now and I love it over here. Still probably going to keep the options open for where we'll move after graduation, but Oregon is definitely on the list for now.
I've been hiking a bunch of times with a local hiking club and I've got 2 more really nice hikes planned for when Tom gets here -- next Thursday! I can't wait!
We're putting the final touches on the planning for what I think we'll have to call our honeymoon, an 11 day journey around Oregon, through Canada and then back across the country to Canandaigua to pick up Cubbins...hopefully he remembers me!
Anyway, here is the current itinerary for our trip: Seattle for two nights and Portland for one when Tom comes into town, then when I finish my clinical we'll be off to Crater Lake, Coos Bay, Lincoln City, Cascade Head, Saddle Mountain, Tillamook, Seaside, Saddle Mountain, Cannon Beach, Astoria or Portland (weather dependent), Vancouver, Jasper National Park, Banff National Park, Calgary, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, Mt Rushmore, Wall Drug, Badlands National Park, Milwaukee, Chicago, Canandaigua. I just got our last overnight reservations done so now we're just trying to get together all the details to make the trip efficient and fun instead of just driving as fast as we can to get everywhere. If it's anything like the trip I had on the way out with Becca it'll be pretty amazing. I think I'm most looking forward to seeing the Canadian parks...well...Tom and the Canadian parks!
