So with a little less than three weeks left, I've reached the home stretch. Wow, freshman year is almost over.
It's hard to tell if I've changed much as a person since high school. A friend I've known for a couple years told me the other day that I never seem to have any patience lately. Puzzling, as I've always found myself to be as patient as a rock. But college is supposed to change you in some ways, right? Well I'm definitely a lot less punctual. And a little more cynical. I'm more confrontational. I still havn't fallen into a routine of working out. I still have that same crude sense of humor. I can stand to eat sushi now. I watch more TV yet I'm still a hard worker. I don't turn red every time I drink. I'm a little more open to other's opinions...or at least I've built up a better tolerance. My photography skills have improved but not my listening skills. I think you get the idea.
So freshman year at UF has been quite an experience and I look forward to an even better year when I return to the suitably rainy Gainesville in August.
But the next five months should be pretty interesting. Got a few things coming up on the horizon to look forward to.
- Trip to The Cayman Islands
- Trip to Cali
- Working a job and making money
- Possible internship at the Courier
Sweeeeeeet.
Anyways, I've got a list of things I've got to do before going to bed so I think I'll leave you now with a photo. Took this last time I was in Jupiter, found it the other day while browsing the archives. Enjoy.
