Happy birthday Ambers! So what's this about lobSTAR today? Woman is now twenty, but she still looks like a ten year old. Just the way I like em. I'm pretty much an asshole because I haven't gotten her anything, but we're going tv shopping today and once we move into our new place the plan is to get a barbeque so we can hook up chicken and
Diana Sauce every fucking night.
Happy birthday sweetie, best year of your life coming up just you wait. *heartses*

There are now three OTVM sequences on my iWeb page:
Columbian Drug Lord,
Parkade, and the latest one just finished last night:
Facility Inside. I'll be continuing to edit more and more of the footage and post it online (

In TVM news writing has commenced again, and speedily. I'm basically writing the whole movie in prose format so that I don't have to worry about formatting or putting specific dialogue down or anything, as that appears to be the source of the writers block plain and simple. For action scenes it's similar in that I was getting bogged down with writing for the locations. Now I'm simply writing things I want to see and that technically we could put anywhere, and once we have locations picked out and we start getting into the specific choreography for each sequence then we'll tailor it to opportunities or hindrances the locations place on us.
I'm also starting to wrap my head around the characters and the mood. In one of our last skype meetings (oh it'd be so much nicer with
4 way video iChat) cubby in particular talked about TVM very much being a fun action romp similar to
MGS where as I was moving more in the direction of
John Woo's Hard Boiled. Basically I want both, and I'm continually reminded of Joss Whedon's
Serenity which was able to jump from humor to heart-wrenching at the cut of a frame and still feel believable the whole time. It's possible I can make TVM work on two levels but I'm probably not good enough a writer to make a B action movie let alone what I'm trying to accomplish with this. Anyways that's how writing on TVM is currently going. ;)
