Notes/Warnings: Written for numb3rs100. Okay, I wikipedia-ed "Dart", because I wanted to see if it would give me any ideas. What I got was this page. I thought it was interesting, and it def. appealed to the math nerd in me. ^_^ It's nothing particularly brilliant, but it was nice to write, considering I haven't done much as of late. Enjoy.
Winds of Time
"This has gotta be the weirdest thing I've ever seen you do, Charlie."
"Mom and I used to..."
Colby nodded, "And this thing'll really fly? It's so... simple."
"Yeah, the two diagonals are perpendicular and the two interior angles at the opposite vertices are equal, forming a pseudotriangle."
"Huh?"
"A pseudotriangle. Y'know... a dart?"
At Colby's blank look, Charlie laughed, waving his hand, "Never mind. It'll fly." Standing, he held the string out to Colby, gathering the kite in his hands.
"Ready?"
Wrapping an arm around his lover, Colby smiled and let it go, watching the wind carry it away.
