I really liked how you said so much with so few words. Also that last one was spot on and really made me feel for him. Thank you.

Thank you!

I'm really happy that you liked the last bit! It was the easiest to write, the one that I had a strong, clear picture of.

Wow. Nice insights into our man Granger! I especially liked/cringed over his sisters' flinching and withdrawing. Poor guy! /Pets him/

Thank you!

In his sisters' defense, my Colby is pretty shellshocked from the war and isn't the easiest person to be around anymore.

Oh I got that! And I liked the insight. It's a relief to know he's maybe less haunted these days.

Hey quality over quantity. This was great. I really liked the last one. Felt so bad for Colby. And remember I have a really boring job where I can write on shift.

Haha, indeed! Although, when you can have both quality *and* quantity.. well, then you're set, eh? Lol.

I'm glad you liked it! <3

Excellent work. I could really feel the sandy desert. Poor Colby.

I want to smack his sisters, but good the little chickens.

Oh, nice insights! Bonus for excellent use of the prompt Strike. Sandstorm was a good one too; I hadn't seen that coming when we came up with the prompts.

As much as we adore our Colby and think he's so well adjusted, the truth is no one can go through that and be unaffected, plus this is Colby many years later - back then it was him as a fresh young soldier only just being stripped of his idealism and sent to swim in the mire.

Nicely done!

^_^ Thank you!! I was hoping someone would give me props for that prompt! :P I was rather proud of it myself. Heh.

That's exactly how I see Colby, in fanon and in canon. He puts up a good front, but anyone who's seen war is affected. I've known too many soldiers to think otherwise.

Thanks for reading! <3 And commenting! Lol.
