I say I'll write more and then pffffft. Right now I would not say my life is a train crash-- it is more along the lines of a turtle getting pushed on its back and then flailing around a bit. Funny to see but miserable for the turtle; however it will survive and go on its merry way eventually.
Anyway, on the "completely irrelevant" tangent, I just saw Nights of Cabiria and it is one of the best movies I've seen. Giulietta Mesina's performance is just perfection, and so is the score. And you know what, it's a very heartening movie to see.
