(no subject)
I guess my aunt really did save the drama for her mama because when the latter finally came over, it was a load of passive-aggressive unpleasantness that no one liked. As far as Thanksgiving goes though...it was pretty good.
What we ended up doing:
-turkey bacon meatloaf
-pork chops
-roasted squash (I made it originally as the first step in soup but my mom liked how I did it so we just served it like this)
-green beans in sesame oil
-mashed sweet potatoes (mmm microwave cooking)
Now I'm going to be full all day today and I have a burn on my hand.
But all things considered I had a nice day.
