a) tourists swarm the damn place now, especially the scary northerners with too short shorts, white legs and stupid hats haha, my family totally went there a few years ago. Though we didn't wear shorts because it was cold. I didn't wear a stupid hat. But my mom bought a stupid hat.
I want to go to the Curiousa festival so bad. So so bad. They aren't coming here, but they are going to Chicago and I'm trying to get my dad to take me to that one with hopes that tickets don't sell out.
You went to the domain of the Mouse? It's cool if you've only ever been there once, or if you're really young, but I'm done with that now. And it does get really hot, especially your feet at the end of the day. <-- random bit of knowledge
I want to go too, but the good tickets (general admission) are expensive like whoa (55$). I don't want to pay 30$ to sit all the way in the lawn either, though. If I look really pathethic and end up getting good grades, then I think my dad would pay for most of it.
It was kind of cool to go to just to say I've been there. But I was 13 or something, so it wasn't the most exciting thing in the world. Although I was fond of all the Eeyore stuff to buy. I have a weird obsession type thing with Eeyore. It was really disappointing that it was kind of cold when we went. We left MN in January, expecting it to be shorts weather. And we were wearing our winter, MN-style jackets. Not cool.
Wow, that is expensive. Worth it for The Cure though, I think. Hopefully your dad will pay for most of it.
All the stuff there is way too expensive for my mother to ever buy anything . And it's funny, because every time we went, it always rained and we always ended up getting ponchos even though there were twelve at home. January in central Florida? Ouch. It does get really cold there during the winter. I think the best weather to go is during October, because in November, it's not shorts weather anymore.
I think it's worth it too, so I'll give the whole "I did so well this year" speech and hope for the best.
