i got here by following one of your icons posted over at marchmainhouse, and i must say, i love your icons (especially #5 and #10)!
haha its good that theres another brideshead fan out there...i'm a fairly recent fan myself having just watched the miniseries on dvd about a month ago. i am probably going to read the novel as well because i find this story so intruiging.
ps: i saw this posted a couple entries down in marchmainhouse, but would you happen to have the soundtrack? the music used in the miniseries was wonderful and i was wondering if you would be willing to share it with me if you have it :)
There are quite a few Brideshead fans out there- you just have to dig them up. I've only read the novel myself, though I ordered the miniseries at last and they should be here soon. :)
No, I haven't been able to find the soundtrack. I've been looking for it for awhile. I'd be happy to let you know if I find it, though, and let me know if you have any luck finding it!
it just occurred to me that it might be available on itunes...i shall go check (yes, i'm one of those mindless consumers that caved in and bought an ipod). the only other place i've seen it is on amazon.com which is annoying since i hail from canada.
If you wouldn't mind e-mailing it to me, since you found it on iTunes, I'd be eternally grateful. I could make you some icons or something, if you have any requests. ^_^ My e-mail is eponwyn[at]gmail[dot]com, if you want to get in touch with me.
Hi, this might be a very random question or it might not. Did you just send me the BR soundtrack through YouSendIt? Someone just did, and didn't say who it was.
If it was you, thanks so very much!
There's one thing, though- the songs won't play because they need to be authorized to play on my computer for the account 'das.lau@rogers.com' and it's asking me for a password before it will allow the songs to play. Could you please e-mail that to me? I swear I won't use it for anything else, or if you'd like I can tell you once I get the songs playing so that you can change the password.
(If you didn't send this, please ignore all of that, heh.)
