Today was the first day of spring classes, and it was good. French 202 is much of the same, but in a completely different class makeup. There's only four of us from last semester's 9:15 class, so we kind of clumped together. It's going to be another semester of attempting to make sense of another language.
I went to NPCC inbetween classes and got my first coffee in about two weeks. It was a little piece of heaven. You can never go wrong with an Irish Creme latte. I also read a bit of Sherlock Holmes, which is always amusing.
Acting Two is going to be amazing. It's basically an entire room full of my theatre friends. I'm so incredibly excited. I couldn't stop smiling from the time I walked into the gym and Megan and Tyler were there, and then they just kept coming!
Shakespeare is going to be alternately challenging and boring. I like the professor's energy and obvious love of the Bard, but it's going to be hard to get around the different levels of comprehension in the class. I am excited about not having to buy the specific edition that's in the bookstore though. I'm going to make a trip to Borders and buy a nice Complete Works that I'll actually want to keep. It will also be interesting being the only theatre person in the class. I'm totally going to approach everything from a theatre perspective and annoy everyone. Not that I strive to be annoying, but I don't think I'll be able to help it. I mean, it's Shakespeare. It's theatre to me, not just some random writer.
Tomorrow I have my first Writing for Children class. This semester is going to be tons of writing, reading, and memorizing, but I think it's going to be a good one. I'm so excited!!!!! Now off to read my comedy script and Act one of As You Like It!
