Book rec
I read a book not long ago that put me in mind of the old OT3 Jack/Kate/Sawyer fic so I thought I'd post about it here. I loved the book (even though I guessed how it was going to end).
Clearcut by Nina Shengold
In the 1970s, a broke, rough treecutter (ahem, a sawyer if you will) takes on a helper who's more of an educated college guy, who has a girlfriend that is interested in them both.
That makes it sound like a smutty romance novel but it's more on the literary fiction side and very well written. I liked the characters and the setting.
