memory lane
I was going through old bookmarks and stuff tonight and keep finding Lost related ones. It's making me kind of... homesick? for our collective island past. Not the show, not really, but the good times we had.
Like... every summer we had the Luau. Do you even remember that? Everybody grabbed a day, and was the Queen, and made demands, and they were answered, and it was silly and it was fun. And it's kind of amazing when I think about it. We had a community here.
And it's kind of like all those post-island fics, where things weren't the same after. The people are still around, mostly. I could go on Facebook if it didn't kind of terrify me. I see some folks on Tumblr, we like each other's posts sometimes. I come on LJ twice a year or so. Trade an email or two. I massively suck at staying in touch. But... and do I dare say it this way...

Much as you might want to. It was a moment in time, and it was mostly good, and it's over now.
