50,580 to be exact. And I'm maybe halfway through the story so there is more to write.
Observations:
I would really like to be a nice, steady, write-every-day kind of writer, but instead I seem to be a slack all week and madly write to catch up on the weekend kind of writer. At least I didn't quit for half the month like last year.
I also named my random characters after Southern California car dealers. The first one was by accident (Fletcher needs a last name... Jones... hm, why is that familiar?), the second was intentional (Cal needs a last name... Worthington it is!). I'll change them if I ever rewrite it. I mean, when I rewrite it.
Disneyland seems to make an appearance in all my stories lately. It's starting to seem a bit weird.
Anyway, that's year ten done. I can't really imagine a November without Nano at this point.
