the rest of my day
I talked to a petsitter, hooray. now I really can go to Europe.
And I was reminded how much I love doing genealogy. Allie was asking me about stuff, and I said "give it here and let me play with it," and she did, and I had so much nerdy fun researching stuff. Making connections and finding new pieces and cool stories. My own family tree is all fleshed out or brick walls at this point. There's still tidbits to find, but not the thrill of building it from scratch.
In other good news, I might not have to work the ENTIRE weekend on the launch of the big project that's been going on for ages.
The bad news is, my stomach kinda hurts. I'm stressing out, and on top of that stressing out is leading to caffeine and sugar and ibuprofen, which doesn't help.
