James Cameron would be so very proud.
I should probably leave it there...I spent the first half or so of this episode wondering if I used to engage in sarcastic dialogue with the show/characters. I don't think I did, but I can't remember when it started.
And then I thought, THE BOYS! Together! I thought they were going to throw us more of a bone but I'll take what we got.
I kinda want to make disparaging remarks about Kate and how when Sawyer got shot he didn't make such a fuss. But the island was magic back then. I'm not sure it's magic now. So maybe I'll cut her some slack.
[Random thought 1: I don't remember them killing Miles, what happened to him? Is there still another group somewhere?
Random thought 2: Kevin Tighe, effective acting without even having one line. Which somehow randomly led me to thinking Newsies would have been a way more fun movie to be ripping off...Sawyer, singing, on horseback? Lollerskates, but sign me up.
Random thought 3: Did alt uni Sawyer kill Duckett and drink with Christian? Or is Christian drinking himself to death pretty much the one constant here?]
Anyways...
Jin and Sun...I have several thoughts on this but I know others will hit my rant points harder and more elegantly. Being annoyed kept me from being upset...at least til Hurley started crying, That really got to me. Jack walking away instead of properly squishing Hurley the way he should have done was disappointing. I anticipate that when Sawyer wakes up (he does have a very hard head and I am certain he will be fine, at least for five or ten more minutes) he will squish Hurley. Because, really, that's what they do.
