So many brilliant, thoughtful, beautifully written angles on one of Lost's more overlooked (IMO) characters. A willingness to try any number of risky, unusual things in writing, and making them work. And being able to wrestle with some of the trickiest and darkest material and handle it without ever venturing into the realm of the bathetic - no easy feat!
