one room done
I painted the kitchen last weekend (weekend before? I forget), and today I got the finishing touches in place, so I present...the one "finished" room in my new place...
BEFORE
The walls? Peach. Counter? Harvest Gold. Border: Moon & stars
AFTER
The walls? Metallic blue. Counter? still harvest gold, what can you do. Border: gone. Add some art (prints, 39 cents each, frames about a dollar each at Goodwill, plus paint), pull out glass jars and sparkly box (made by isis2015!).
I love it. I love the way the metallic in the blue keeps it from being oppressively dark, and I think that my goal of counteracting the color of the countertop succeeded.
