Battlestar Galactica didn't remind me of Space: Above and Beyond, but Space: Above and Beyond is reminding me a lot of Battlestar Galactica.

I just lent my unwatched Battlestar Gallactica (a gift) to my friend. I loved, loved, loved Space: Above and Beyond. Does this indicate that I need to watch Battlestar Galalctica sooner, rather than later?

Maybe! I was struck by the similarities, is all, and wanted to make a recommendation. I really liked the first couple of seasons of BSG. It's worth checking out.
