The Monsters in the Jungle

You will be looking for it when it comes. When the mild electric buzz will sing through the jungle. You'll watch the black specks undulate. You will feel your heart race as they begin to take shape. You won't be afraid of death; you've been looking for it all along. You will want this, more than anything. You will have wanted it ever since you all figured out what this thing was, what it could do.
You will smile as you face your father -- and yet not your father at all -- for the first time in thirty years.
