Oh gosh I liked this. Their interaction is fantastic. Hallelujah completely made me giggle. And the part at the end? The breaking the spell part where you know that everything's going to ba okay, that was lovely. And if I was more coherent I could leave better feedback, you know, the kind that doesn't sound like its coming from a six year old in the fifties.

Okay, adding to my memories so I can revisit later, but what a nice thing to read just before bed.

Oh wow. This fic = ♥. I can't even say how much I adore it. It's quite perfect, completely satisfying, deep and spare and sad and peaceful. I enjoyed every word of it, and afterward I just had this warm feeling - like blankets on a winter night - that comes when I read something really great.

It's something when you read a fic and realize that not one word could be changed to make it better, because it is already precisely as it needs to be in every way.

Thanks, I'm so glad you liked it, and that it was able to create that kind of feeling.

(Although I always seem to find words the next morning that *could* be changed. I'm sure every writer does. But I'm flattered.)

Wow, I liked this a lot. Sawyer not-quite panicking and Jack needing him to keep talking just as badly. Love how Sawyer so casually sums up his past in that vast underexaggeration. Mostly, I love how comfortable they are with each other here. I think that's my favorite thing about this, them being together when everything else is so uncertain.

And for a fic that's mostly dialogue, it doesn't ever feel talky. ;) Very nice.

Thank you! I'm glad you thought it worked. And that it wasn't talky, that was one of my biggest fears here, that it was all "said, said, said."

This is absolutely amazing! Wonderful story, great characters and just the right balance of angst and sweetness.

oh wow. I can only agree: everything in this fic seems so perfectly placed, that when I finished I really thought it could not have gone any other way. That the plane went from oppressive to comforting is awesome. And it's the best use of this prompt I've seen. Absolutely wonderful.
