Watched a bunch of Lost episodes instead of writing, and now of course I'm in the mood to write but should go to sleep instead.
Regarding Lost, the story with Jack's dad got mostly wrapped up, but now I'm wondering why he was in Australia in the first place. It seems like kind of a weird place to go. Maybe he just likes to run from his problems, but I'm wondering now if there's another Australia connection still coming. Maybe he was stalking Driveshaft, or hanging out with Ana Lucia...?
Also, I think maybe Hibbs was actually trying to help Sawyer in a weird way, sending him to Australia. It was self-serving of course, but Sawyer was never supposed to have that conversation with Frank Duckett. He was supposed to go away thinking he'd killed The Real Sawyer, which Hibbs probably thought would have healed that inner torment. Or he would have confirmed he's not a killer (Hibbs says Sawyer's not the killing type) and gotten over the idea to kill Real!Sawyer.
On the subject of writing, I think the smut story of doooooooooooom is about 75% where I want it to be. I just have to figure out how to fix the rest. And resist adding a second chapter where everybody hooks up in a different combination.
And I'm contemplating sequels in fanfic. Mostly just the general concept. So out of curiosity, a poll.
