35 years ago today I met you for the first time. You were a beautiful baby, you grew to be smart, witty, and much more as a child. You faced many challenges and were challenging through your teen years. You became a man, had a bit of a setback and started all over. You spent several years raising your son by yourself while putting yourself through college, married a wonderful woman, continued on to grad school. You went into the work world and conquered some major obstacles. You have always been a light in my life through all of it.
