Does anyone want to know what the Commons considers lasagna? Apparently it is layered cheese and pasta with a bunch of sauce on the side. Sauce on the side? Who ever heard of that? Is there really anyone out there who thinks that lasagna is better without sauce?

But back in our own kitchen things are even more interesting. I have this small nativity set that my sister got from the dollar store a couple of years ago from the dollar store or something. I was looking for a place to put it out and it seemed to fit prefectly on the little ledge on the back of the stove. So that led to a little discussion of why Jesus was watching over our stove.

We've reached a point where this is currently on the markerboard on the fridge:
Our Father, who art over the stove,
Hallowed be thy food.
Thy hunger come, thy food be done,
on stove as it is in oven.

Can you tell it is near the end of the semester?
