Wow. Does anyone know what it is like to get good news about your car?
Since the crap about the leaking fuel filter and towing it to Bel Air, Mr. Tire discovered that it was a problem with a small part that connected the fuel filter to the fuel line. My uncle told me this is something that can develop over time and was probably just triggered by them replacing the filter when I brought it in.
So they kept it over the weekend searching for a part so they didn't have to buy an entire new fuel line. Well they got a hold of one and sent something in for the warranty on it. And decided that they aren't going to charge me anything! That is amazing and has made this whole adventure worth it.
