nothing

Well, i have nothing to write about, but i felt like writing in here anyways, because i'm cool. haha. i've decided that i'm not going to use capital letters for the rest of this entry because i don't feel like using the shift button. i'm pretty lazy. i just went to starbucks and i got a chai tea. it's pretty freakin good. oh wait, i do have something to write about. my aunt and uncle wrote me these emails that are so funny. they're both college professors, so they think it's necessary to use perfect grammar and as many large words at all times, even in emails to their niece. here's an excerpt from my aunt...

In my experience (as a college student, a professor, and a college
administrator), those students who actually live on campus and
immerse themselves in the atmosphere and experiences of being a
full-time college student get the most from college. It's the
best way to get to know people and is much more fun and just
taking classes. I actually think that your academic learning may
also be better because you'll have more opportunities to use the
library, study with others in your classes, and engage in
academic conversation outside the classroom. Even if you have a
job, your primary experience is begin a college student. It's
an experience that you only get to have once in live in quite
this way so go for it!

and here's one from my uncle...

I also offer my congratulations to you. Acceptance is one thing, a significant scholarship is even better.
I also second Kay's comments about leaving home to be a freshwoman at college. If you can swing it money wise, go for it. Flagstaff will be a whole different deal--town, college and weather--and you will probably love it.
Take care and keep up the grade average even though you are already admitted!

I think these are so funny because of how impersonal they are. They didn't even write love, at the end, they wrote regards. Who does that when they're writing to their family. well, i think it's funny, but maybe you have to know my aunt and uncle.

i really like the new jlo song, and that 1 2 step song... i'm also really into dashboard confessionals, gwen stefani, and sadly, britney spears. these are the cds circulating through my cd player right now.

work was busy. i think it's because it was mlk day. then a bunch of folds fell down and we had to fix them.

i spent the night at leticia's house last night. it was good fun, she's a funny girl. we ate these oranges with lemon juice and chili powder on them. it sounds gross, but it was so good. then we watched "a little princess," which i haven't watched since i was like 10 years old. i forgot how much i like little girl movies with happy endings, i want to watch it again. her mom made pancakes this morning, yum.

went to see "white noise" with monica before i went to leticia's. it freakin sucked! wasn't scary and monica and i just made fun of it the whole time. very disappointing. i don't recommend it, maybe as a rental, but definitely not worth 8.75. she went to some parties, but i wasn't in the mood, i was tired from doing inventory until 3 a.m. the night before, so i went to leticia's instead.

we named the puppy oscar. not greek or andy, but i like it, i think he looks like an oscar. having a puppy is almost like having a baby. i haven't slept well since we got him on friday, and i have to clean up his pee, poop and feed him. and it's like having a bad husband because my dad does nothing! oh well, he's cute, so it's worth it. amos is still afraid of him, and he hasn't eaten in two days, i'm worried about him.
