Having your own apartment is fun.
Right now I'm waiting for Dan to get out of work. Amanda is home from San Fransisco, and I miss her so much even though she's on this side of the country. 3 more months, that's all, 3 more months.
It's an hour-long commute from the apartment to work, and it's a bitch when you wake up an hour late, but I feel rejuvenated and ready-to-roll. I can't wait to start going to the gym with Katharine, but I think I have to wait a day since tomorrow is the Fourth of July.
I love the Fourth of July. Unfortunately, I'm working all day/night. However, today at Zavala we had hamburgers, fries, and coke in honor of the occasion.
I thought it would be very anti-social, living so far off-campus and in a giant apartment house. However, the five boys that live upstairs are really fun college guys and are friends with several other houses of people on our street. They just kinda walk into our living room, same as dorm life, only bigger, and with people you like. We discussed how we're going to have party hopping down the street and dual-floor parties in our building. Mmm hmm!
I've lost twenty-five pounds and 9 pants sizes since I started my diet a week before school ended. Goodbye fattiness, bring on the new hair cut to match the size 4 jeans!
I wish all my girls were home for the summer. It's not the same without them.
It's still fun, though- and tomorrow I am going to wake up early, go running, and have "family breakfast" with Daniel because it's Sunday morning. Katharine hasn't moved in yet, so part of our family is missing. I saw Nate Joyal, Joel Sherman, and Phil Roberts tonight. We made plans to hang out (which made NK quite happy.)
I want Rog to come home, but so we all do. But for all of you who always ask how he is, he's in maine and surviving =)
