Awesome things of awesome everyone should be aware of:

  1. The Inception Love Meme by ohfreckle! ♥ ♥ ♥
  2. After a gigantic discussion on Twitter, I have just realised that I know next to nobody's age! THIS IS A PROBLEM, OKAY, because in all my previous fandoms (bar Sherlock Holmes) I was pretty much the eldest. But I am pretty sure that I am not the eldest in ( Read more... )

HOW ARE YOU ONLY 19, I THOUGHT YOU WERE OLDER mostly because you are a med student? But then again, you guys have a different education system, so of course you are younger /o\

Hahaha, this is my first year of Med school! We Australians do not value our Health system, therefore we let CHILDREN into Med school, because we can. WHEEEEE. ♥

You're certainly not a child! Besides, you are there to learn, and you will learn a lot! And also I am secretly very jealous of you because I would love to get into any health-related school right out of high school ;v;

Haha, well, we didn't get directly into Med school out of high school - we had to take an undergraduate degree first, except for us it was shortened from 3yrs to 2yrs. ♥ Don't be jealous! It's a loooot of work, and very stressful. I will probably lose all my hair before I turn twenty-five. :D

So you can obtain an undergraduate degree by the time you're 18? o__o Wait, so how many years are you in high school and at what ages?

I think all med students worldwide lose their hair by the time they get their degrees!

No, no, no! My birthday is late in the year, so I am meant to be turning 20 this year. You can get an undergrad, without honours, a 3yr degree, by the time you're 20. But most people choose to do Honours, which is an extra year, and a lot of people choose double/dual degrees.

We leave high school at... 16/17? I think? CAN'T REMEMBER, haha, too long ago.

THAT EXPLAINS THE HIGH PREVALENCE OF MALE PATTERN BALDNESS. They tried to tell us it was genes, but now the truth comes out. Hahaha! <3

Oh, I see! You guys are going at breakneck speed *A* Or maybe we're just slow over here, haha. What is your expected date of graduation from med school, then? (sorry for all the questions! I'm just curious :'>)

FFFFF this is so true ♥ But seriously, I think we all sacrifice a little bit of our sanity to go through such a long process q___q.

We graduate in 2014! But then begins the long slog of intern/whatever comes after intern/registrar/whatever comes after registrar... (I have the worst memory ever, haha, I swear.) No, it's fine! Ask away! I don't mind. ♥

Yeah, my friends were talking about it the other day - pre-Med + Med, for us, is 6yrs, which is pretty much like high school ALL OVER AGAIN. D:

Hahaha, I actually (embarrassingly) have no idea. Er. But it comes after I graduate! I have a long time to contemplate it, at least. :sobs:

Thank-you, bb! I'll need it. ♥
