I think that the Instant Pot would work brilliantly for a steamed pudding, or a cheesecake? This looks good, if pale, but the texture is very dense. It could go in the bucket of a trebuchet and be launched at someone with expectations of real damage. It's a 6-cup pan; Nordic Ware has a recipe on their website for a vanilla bundt cake to be baked in the oven, so I shall try again later in the week.
Proper autumn weather has resumed after yesterday's heat, and it has been pouring on and off since noon. P. is packed for his trip to Denver tomorrow. I will put him on the 7.05 sailing and we will hope for the best: he'll be at the airport early enough to have a hot breakfast, and we've packed snacks for the flight.
