financial situation and update
well i just got done lookin at the money i should have, assuming that we get the 50 cent illinois raise at BOTH of my jobs, i should have just about 700 or so to use for school and art supplies. sounds doable. if i pinch my pennies (which sucks, but ive been poor all my life, i think i know how to) i could possibly even buy a miter chop saw, but i doubt i will since i got the one in the shop as well as in the art studio to use if i need to. if i dont get the raise at walmart, im gonna be still around 600 surplus, but thats not a lot. i need to really be thrifty (did i just say thrifty? how old am i? 80?) with my cash, or ill end up fucking myself over. oh well, not like that hasnt happened before. and ill be working on a richter grant soon to hopefully get some of that money for me so i can use it instead of my own funds for my term. that would be awesome, but who knows if thatll happen. i already got screwed on the scholarship that i applied for. too bad, it was a 2500 dollar one, and that would have rocked. oh well i guess i need to step it up. maybe ill apply for more, but who knows. terry jackson even said "every person i have ever told to fill this out has gotten it, and ive been doing this for like 10 years blah blah blah." why am i always the fuckin exception? lol oh well. so this term should be awesome. i got a lot of shit to do, and itll hit me hard around week 5-6.
in other news, everyones back at knox from what i can see, and its wonderful. i got the damned cat back to the damned owner. that little terror can stay there. hes a cute cat, but inherently he is the devils incarnate on earth. i saw a lot of people at walmart last night when i was workin, it was great to see a lot of friends, and it made me smile a lot to see people. im gonna try to get a few people some jobs at wallyworld, but i dont know if theyll make it or not. fuck, its worth a shot though.i KNOW we need cashiers, and if they say they dont, theyre fuckin retarded. last night there was about 3 checkers, and the lines were over 6 people long for each of them. oh well, im glad i dont do that anymore, but it still sucks for them up there, ive been there before, and its not pleasant. ok then, so i finally got a reply from alissa on her message i left her, and it made me smile. shes really a sweet girl, also quite amazing. i have a few ideas for her for her xmas present, but im not gonna say anything on here in case she reads it. that would suck. also i think she doesnt have one, and at the same time is very interested in getting this, so it should work out if i can find one. or maybe she would be interested in paying for a bit of it, and my gift to her could be merely my contribution. prolly the second one, as im poor, and this thing isnt cheap.
well thats the end of this update, nothing more to report, other than the people i got presents for like them, and bill is especially fond of his smoking apparatus. if you heard about it, and know what it is i speak of, come see it. its classic. ok im out of here, got some things to do, later all.
