Since there's so much to catch up on and deal with in addition to cosplay/cons backlog, expect no real pictures for a long time. I'll also continue to be very behind on LJ/FB/dA/etc. sorry.
On the cosplay side of things, I've decided June will be "Prop Month" for me. Projects will include Raud accessories/sword, Shamisen for Gakupo (anyone want to make a Hagane group?), and Headphones for one of Range Murata's characters. (I feel like there are other things that should be in that list.) I *may* host some coswork days at my place in West LA - anyone interested?
I wouldn't say it was my best con ever. But it was epic.

Somewhere in the mix there (it's all kind of a blur) looking through my LJ f-list, I also ran into akusesu, andyrak, blanklogo, dramaelf, evanae, fattastik, funkysonicworld, hakuku, luffyxii, mingswly, owldepot, qcamera, shiimapan, siyegen, slave_to_anime, strongest_shld, super_no_1, tamayaki, tenshiyaki, x_angel_wings_x, ycysusan, and many others I don't have on LJ.
Kinda sad I missed out on laguna_moomba & the Caruncho's this year. I didn't see several others who were there either, like shiroin168 , naoekun, sklathill, wabisuke, random_karen and spwinkles, but I'm pretty sure they and most of the rest that I missed I'll see at AX. (I'd name more names, but I'm not 100% sure if some of you were there or not)

Thursday
- Start packing ~1am
- Picked up at ~4:15am by yoshikochan for the trip up with her.
- Arrive at Hotel ~10:30a
- Lunch @ Su's Mongolian BBQ in Santa Clara (few blocks from SCU, where I went to school). mmm... Good food & nostalgia
- Explored Kelly Park in San Jose w/yoshikochan - photos will be in a future location scouting post
- Helped yoshikochan with swap meet stuff. Phone call with tsuzusushi. Ran into bunches of people
- Shabu shabu dinner with Bryce, yunaura, envirion, dear_mo.
- Borrowed glasses for Michael cosplay from dust_eden (thanks!)
- In bed by 1am
Friday
- Wake up ~5am to get ready for leaving for a shoot at 7am
- Help from dear_mo, making me half-zentradi ears
- Leave with envirion and dear_mo for shoot with Bert and chase_the_bunny at 7:30am.
- Breakfast stop at Java Detour.
- Park around Hyde & Lombard in SF, commence Macross Fontier shoot in drizzles/mist.
- Rode a cable car for a few blocks while chase_the_bunny ran after us. Uphill. Steep SF Hill.
- Switch location to Yacht Rd & Marina Blvd. Photos by the water / Golden Gate
- Switch to Palace of Fine Arts for more photos of dear_mo. No more construction there!
- Accidentally took a trip across the Golden Gate bridge.
- Lunch at Hall of Flame.
- Purikura!
- Photoshooting of treat as Trucy with envirion as an assistant.
- Hungout with treat/envirion/Danny/Jenella for a bit afterwards
- Thai food Dinner with envirion and dear_mo in their Takuya Angel outfits. Noticed thedreamerworld was there too. Good food & good Thai tea.
- Tracy's hairy caveman chest
- Twister in an elevator.
- Sleep, I think 1:30-ish. (early for me, but it was a long day)
Saturday
- Wake up....9ish?
- Raud coswork
(more details in an upcoming WIP post) - Collected lunch with whitelilacs for the room.
- Magna Carta 2 shoot with envirion, dear_mo, and whitelilacs by masakocha
- Got the smallest "Large" pizza I've ever seen.
- Switch to Gakupo for the rest of the night
- yunaura assisted shoot of auralowis and tested her contortionist abilities...

- Big dragon Bert taught baby dragon Yan fire breathing:

- mikecabusi and minhsoi had their traditional shoot under the stairs
- Sleep around 4am
Sunday
- Wake up 9am
- Hyung Tae Kim gathering at noon - involving the previous day's MC2 group, with the addition of Joanne, and pho3nix + azuuchan's Magna Carta cosplay
- Shoot w/ evalime + Sojian
- Lunch @ Bijan bakery w/ MC2 crew - ran into fabula_umbrae, Katie, Christine, Daniel, inuashley813, and kitsunedolly there.
- Changed out of Raud, into Nyx w/ whitelilacs's Angelique.
- Visited BofA to get some money to help pho3nix buy a shota hooker.
- Met up with a man in a skirt, then went behind a curtain to swap the 20's from the ATM for bigger bills. Most suspicious looking transaction ever.
- Dinner @ The Pita Pit
- Checked out Geoff & Matt & co being bouncers for Shiaw-lin at The Gong Show
- late NANA shoot, with yunaura again as my assistant - seen in a test shot here.
(out of focus, but it was too cute not to post) - Found kitsunesqueak, our little gigolo. But really, who is fooled by sunglasses and a hat? (and a wig)
- Shoot went till almost 3am. Crashed right after.
Monday
- Woke up 9-ish to pack / out of the room by ~11
- Con wandering - the only block of the whole weekend I didn't have any plans
- Left for the trip back at around 1:30pm with yoshikochan and whitelilacs
- lunch @ Pea Soup Andersen's
- Dinner stop @ Subway/Starbucks, where we ran into Yuffie_Suzume/kuchikixrukia & her group.
- So much traffic I could take nice long exposure photos in the car due to us not moving at all
- Back in LA around 10:30p
