baby you're a real boy now

I'm not sure what this is.

You're a real boy now,
Carved of flesh, bleeding through,
You're a real boy now baby,
So make a wish upon a star
That all the old wishes come true.

Black cats and spiderwebs,
Bad luck on the corner
Dressed in sheepskins.
Cry wolf even if you don't mean it.
Shoe shine for a cheap dime,
You're still not worth much.
But baby you're a real boy now.

This little kiddie got bullets
And this little kiddie got none.
It's the luck of the draw, the shot, the bang.
Suburban nights leaking through
Leave a soulless residue.
But don't worry, 'cause
Baby, you're a real boy now.

Suburban nights, leaking through,
Leave a soulless residue,
So make a wish upon a star,
That all the old wishes come true.
Shoe shine for a cheap dime,
You're still not worth much,
But baby you're a real boy now.

I wrote it the other day. I like it. What do you think?

opinions plz, poems, random, late night ramblings, lyrics?, weirdness
