Music...

So I've got my headphones back from being returned to Japan and back for being "defective." And by "defective" I mean drunk people probably shouldn't use expensive electronic equipment (and no I'm not mad). I really want to get back into the groove of playing guitar and possibly recording some stuff, however, it's hard to do anything without anybody to play with, but oh well.

There's a few concerts I wouldn't mind going to. However, Weezer is sold out, Green Day is sold out (I don't know if I would really go see them again cuz it's expensive), and Porcupine Tree (the closest 3 spots are Cleveland, Toronto, or Chicago). Any takers?

On another note I'm trying to download a lot of new music as most mainstream stuff is crap and I have a pretty broad spectrum of what I like. Porcupine Tree came out with a new album and I hope it is as rocking as the last one (will listen to it driving to and fro from work, haha I used the word fro and not in the context of afro). Anybody recommend any music to listen to?

Badly mixed music sounds terrible through good headphones and so do bad quality mp3s. These are two things I never noticed with my terrible desktop speakers. Only complaint I have about my headphones is they get balls hot and sweaty after wearing for extended periods of time, it's like I'm wearing earmuffs, very comfortable earmuffs that make beautiful music.

So I was listening to some minimalistic mexican techno. Too bad it was only like 10 second clips, cuz it could be interesting. I'm starting to think that the best music is British. I should go to bed because I have to work way too early. I'm out.
