In my procrastination quest, I've been watching my shiny new Man from UNCLE DVDs. So here's some squee about Episode 1.04, The Shark Affair. \o/! Awesome ep! Good villain, some hilarious banter, Mr. Waverly being paternal and adorable, and Illya getting his ass kicked for trying to protect Napoleon. What more could a fangirl want?
I also found Napoleon and Illya's division of labor to be amusing. Napoleon, during the course of the episode, runs around, plants a bomb, blows up a ship, makes a couple of stupid mistakes, gets whipped (xparrot was right, someone has a kink), and is surprisingly competent.
Illya spends the entire episode either:
(1) sulking
(2) eating
or (3) getting hit in the head with doors
The eating and getting hit with doors are hilarious, while the sulking is just awesome. I submit pictorial evidence:
"Looks like it's time for somebody's nap."
Hee! Illya's adorable when he's grumpy.
