Well I have to say I liked Season 7 = Yeah losing Bobby hurt. The show was great as far as I'm concerned.
If you were to only watch a few episodes after Bobby passed then I would at say that there are good points from each of the episodes - ep11 Adventures in Babysitting (See the boys dealing with the after affects of Bobby's death) ep12 Time after Time (time traveling Dean was hot) ep13 Slice Girls (surprise there - not spoiling) ep14 Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie - (clowns with Sam) ep15 Repo Man (flashbacks to season 4) Ep16 Out With the Old (cursed objects) ep17 The Born Again Identity - (about Sam's break down with Lucy) ep18 Party On Garth (helping Garth) ep19 Of Grave Importance (Bobby helps the boys) ep20 The Girl with Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo (this is where we meet Charlie - new ep this week) ep21 Reading is Fundamental (we meet Kevin) ep22 There Will Be blood - (finishing up the season) ep23 Survival of the Fittest (exploding Dick).
Season 8 - I'm enjoying season 8 yes there is angst and the brothers are working their way back together but that wasn't something that should surprise us. Yes there is Cas hugging (not a great deal of it but a bit) Ep1 We Need To Talk about Kevin (their reunion is not what it's cracked up to be but it's great and we see Kevin again) Ep2 What's Up, Tiger Mommy? (meet Kevin's Mom and learn some about the season) Ep3 Heartache (Interesting Jensen directed) Ep4 Bitten (very different from other POV) Ep5 Blood Brother (learn about Dean's time in Purgatory and Benny) Ep6 Southern Comfort (Garth again and issues are revealed) Ep7 A Little Slice of Kevin (Cas helps the boys) Ep8 Hunteri Heroici (funny ep) Ep9 Citizen Fang (Martin is back - Dean helps Benny) Ep10 Torn and Frayed (Sam and Dean have issues to resolve and help Castiel rescue an angel).
New episode on Wednesday Ep11 LARP and the Real Girl (Charlie is back)
I know that there are many out there that are not enjoying season 8 or didn't enjoy season 7 - I am not like them. I have enjoyed the story line - yes there are areas that I would have liked to have gone differently and something’s that didn't make me go yipee but I enjoy the show. Heck there are episodes in the first seasons that I didn't really like but they were important to the rest of the show and the dynamics of the character and their storyline.
I’m hoping I convinced you to take a chance and watch season 7 or at least some of season 8. I am more than willing to chat about anything if you have questions or just want to chat about it. Have fun.
