HAMEL: PERMISSIONS

Hamel's abilities differ depending on which form he's in. Essentially, he has three forms: human, half-demon, and full-demon.

Human: Hamel's human form is ...quite obviously the most seen and the one he tries to keep the most. While in this form, he uses his magical music the most. Magical music is basically him playing certain symphonies or scores on the violin while casting his magical abilities (from the demon blood within him) to personify the meanings of each score. The most commonly used is the Marionette Form, which allows him to control the body of whomever he's casting the music to. But he can stir emotions in those around him through music, or bring about great strength. It really just depends on what the composer was aiming for when they wrote the music.

Another thing he has in his human form is a seemingly 4th dimensional bag of costumes he drags with him everywhere. Some of the costumes are fairly simple and normal (an angel costume for Ocarina and Sizer) to some pretty perverted ones (dominatrix and nurse for Sizer) to ones that just don't make any sense at all (baseball uniforms, full-body crab and octopus costumes, a motherfucking Flute-designed mecha costume). He can, and will, force people into these costumes and more often than not use his Marionette Version to make them dance to earn him money.

Hamel's also got some incredible stamina, able to run long distance without stopping. Especially if he's being chased. Which happens more often than he'll ever care to admit. He's got quite a bit of physical strength: he can easily throw people or Raiel's one ton gold piano across amazing distances as weapons (often calling them "[...] MISSILE!").

Half-Demon: His half-demon form doesn't appear often. Usually what happens is he'll get angry by some comment or action taken by a human or demon relating to what he really is. His eyes will blot out, he'll grow two howns (one on each side of his head) and he'll become over 9000 times physically stronger. He tends to lose his conscious while in this mode and is more of a berserker, aiming to kill any demon in his path. Why yes, he is a player killer. After he finishes and senses no more enemies, he'll revert back to human form. His conscious can't be reached while he's in this form, so it's advised to stay away. Later in the series, during his first fight with Vocal, he seems to be able to fight the demon blood and keep the form while holding onto his human conscious, thus making a better use of the power itself.

Full Demon: WARNING. THIS FORM IS ULTIMATE KILL. No, seriously. The first time he reached this form was in the kingdom of Score after being provoked by Orgel and the dead spirits of Ansem. He almost completely destroyed it and everyone there in one go. When this form happens? He grows three horns, his skin turns red, he grows two black wings and he becomes almost anorexic in build. Not to say he's unkillable, but he's pretty damn hard to beat. The hero group together couldn't beat him (and they even had Sizer there, damn). The only thing able to get him out of this is Flute, who can use her healing touch and PURE HUMAN TRUST to get him back in his right senses. After this first time, he seems to revert quite easily back into it without any provocation (for ...comedic purposes, usually). This form is what the demons aim to get him into when they antagonize him, hoping it'll awaken Kestra's spirit. After Kestra's revival, they try to get him into this form so Kestra can have an easier time drinking Hamel's blood. He's such a good father. Really. 8(

PERSONALITY

There are some things about Hamel that should probably be known up front before he starts pissing off your characters.

A fact that is proven through and through is that Hamel is a jackhole. There is no way around this. It is not a "mask" he wears to hide some deep ~*hidden*~ hurt or anything. He's just really an asshole. Yes, those deep hurt feelings are there, but the asshole in him is more prevelant. He can and will go out of his way to try and be an asshole and will more often than not find ways to push your characters' buttons or piss them off.

For the record: He is good at this. He is very good at it. But everything he does, he has a reason for. If your character is acquainted with him and they're feeling down? He'll probably do or say something to try and get them riled up so they won't be thinking about it. In a very, very rare occasion, if they're really close, he may actually attempt to get serious and give real advice. Do not count on this very often, if ever.

Another thing about Hamel is he likes money. This is something he picked up from his mother when they were running from village to village and it's not something he can just give up. He's good with money and he's good at making money, don't even ask how you somehow owe him an ungodly debt within a week of knowing him. If he knows you have something valuable, he will probably find a way to get it from you and sell it to a pawn shop at top dollar, wait for you to get it back and then do the same thing again later if he needs the cash. He'll gladly do concerts for money or make/sell costumes for money.

If you actually read through that?

....Good for you. ¦D

YOUR PART
this is the part you fill stuff out

Seeing as so much of his magical music requires the use of another person, Iiiiiii'm not about to start stepping on anyone's toes. I'd rather have understanding and cooperation on my side before he does anything to anyone's characters. Anything he does to your character with permission would have in-game context and advance planning.

So if you read all that and understand what his abilities entail, I'd really appreciate it if you could fill this out and comment with it. I'll be keeping a close eye on who's allowing what so I don't bother any players.
