[Chrono had planned on hiding out in his room for most of the day until he heard the strange voice post--something about a "demon". The post made him uneasy. Something seemed very, very wrong with this situation. And, of course, with Remington around, he wouldn't let him just ignore the situation. Chrono grabbed a bottle of holy water with Remington's urging, then rushed out into the snow, spread his wings and flew into the air. He focused his senses and tried to see if he could pick up something, anything amiss.]

[Oh, something was definitely amiss all right. Hamel had single-handedly destroyed an outskirt exit of Xanadu and a small pathway while fighting Squall and chasing Timothy.and was making his way to the beach. There's a nice blood trail to follow too. He didn't want this. He didn't want any of it, Chestra just-- The asshole wouldn't leave him be and now he was stuck fighting these humans that weren't in any danger to begin with until they tried to fight him.]

[The blood shows up niiice and bright against the snow, of course, so Chrono's eyes catch it and he quickly starts to follow the trail. Those sharp eyes widen when they catch sight of the figure the blood leads to. That's definitely a demon--the horns gave away that much.]

Remington, he's there! ... Can't tell if it's his or a victim's.

[And he starts to fly down towards the other demon, being cautious not to appear threatening at first but to not let down his guard.]

[Wow, the first one to show up not ready to attack on sight. Hamel watched it quietly, claws ready. He couldn't trust humans, nor could he trust demons. He knew it so he had to be ready.]

[This curse is stressing him out, like most everyone else in the City. So Rokuta has decided that he should go somewhere nice and relaxing to try and forget that his dead dad is following him around. Despite the snow he figured the beach would still be nice and so he heads there, making sure to dress warmly. He keeps his gaze pointedly at the ground, ignoring that ghostly apparition with all his might.

Unfortunately the beach is not as peaceful as he thought and he freezes in his tracks when he spots Hamel.]
