Acceptance!
So woot! I got into USIP!!! Biochemistry class of 2011 baby!!! Did I mention that I get 7 grand a year in merit money on top of that? So yeah, I pretty much kick ass...
Still, I'll apply to a few more just to be safe: TCNJ, Brown (mom's making me which means i have to take a second SAT II (and to think I thought I was done with those), Marist, etc..
Did you ever realize you never fill out your minor choice on your application? (Btw i'm taking a minor in writing or lit wherever i go...at marist i might double major between biochem and journalism)
Black Friday equals all out rage...i set my alarm at 5:30 this morning (but didn't actually get up till 6) just to beat the crowds. Didn't help much because it felt like all of China had invaded. But it was fun spending $300 ($120 of which i received when I picked up my last paycheck and got to desposit it (and withdrawl too of course!)) on a new concert dress, presents for relatives, an eggnog latte, and a copy of breakfast at tiffanys (incidentally written by the same person who wrote in cold blood).
Well blondie turned out to be a dud, but you know it really didn't affect me that much. It's just nice to know that I was happier just being friends with him then I ever was dating, well you know who i'm talking about. But don't worry, since I already have a new boy lined up which I don't think will work out but what's the harm in trying? Plus we're young, let's have some fun!
Oh, and I decorated for Christmas today...I love finding and unboxing all the decorations...guess it's the little things that amuse me!
