Yay! More! I am so enjoying this story. I've felt so sorry for Ianto through all of this. I think you're going in exactly the right direction letting him have a hand in bringing down the people who have done this to him. Jack of course is refusing to admit he's in pain and scared by going into Captain mode.
Can't wait for more.

Yep, Captain mode. Ianto would ordinarily recognize that but he is still badly out of balance.

Well said. And strangely enough almost exactly what comes out of a scene I am working on now (several chapters past this one)in which we learn exactly why Jack let Ianto do it. Great minds think alike, I suppose. 8-)

People that love you sometimes maintain the "poor you" attitude longer than is healthy after a trauma (because your trauma was traumatic for them as well).
