The Late Shift
Apparently, the replacement for Conan on Late Night is going to be Jimmy Fallon. Uh...? Just yesterday, while watching 30 Rock, I was wondering what happened to that guy. Couldn't be worse than Carson Daly, but I hope he has stopped cracking up at his own jokes.
ABC and Fox want Leno. So does Sony for a syndicated show. Couldn't be worse than Chevy Chase or Magic Johnson or Spike Feresten or whatever other schmoe they gave shows out to that have flopped miserably. I just hope Conan beats his pants off if he goes for it.
Meanwhile, nobody continues to give much of a damn about Letterman. And I still think Paul Shaffer is gay despite his claims to have a wife and kids.
