It's been a while. Okay, more than a while, it's been nearly 3 years since I updated this thing. Looking back on some of them entries I've posted I have actually been cringing, 16/17 year old me sucks. So I suppose I should tell you a bit more about myself, since 16 year old me did a terrible job.

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am 20 years old, born on the 7th of October. I live in Scotland, and I am at college studying Social Sciences. In my last entry I spoke of passing my theory test, well...I passed my driving test in January 2011, so it will soon be 2 whole years since I passed, which is crazy, I currently have a part time job in Next, which I hate, but at the end of the day the money is good and the people I have met through work are an absolutely awesome bunch of people.

My television tastes have also progressed from Hollyoaks, I absolutely love glee, and yes I am a Klaine shipper. Darren Criss is my ultimate love, my friends shake their heads at my obsession with him, but who wouldn't be obsessed with that perfect man? I also love Chris Colfer, and love glee as a whole show, Even though I give it crap all the time about it's sometimes (okay most of the time) shoddy writing, I do absolutely love it. I love The New Normal (god dammit Ryan Murphy, stop producing addictive television shows!). I also love the walking dead, the storylines are actually gripping, and I've been literally on the edge of my seat more than once during the majority of episodes, especially this season. How I met your Mother is also another television obsession, and I ship Barney and Robin (who doesn't ship Barney & Robin?)

My music taste has also, kind of, progressed. I still love bands including Blink 182 and the like, but I am into anything and everything. My iPod includes things from rock, to dance, to good old cheesy pop. My favourites include The Beatles, Imagine Dragons, Walk The Moon, Fleetwood Mac, with a heck of a lot more, In the time since my last journal entry, I've been to 2 T in The Parks, 2010 and 2011, and have enjoyed my time there immensely.

Another love I have is for the Olympic Gold Medallist diver Matthew Mitcham. I'll admit, I knew of him through his success in Beijing 2008, but after 2008 I hadn't thought about him since. It took his freak out over Chris Colfer following him on twitter during London 2012 to make me go "Oh! He was that Australian guy that won the gold medal!" for me to start following him on twitter. Since then, some of his tweets have made me laugh, and when he tweeted me back twice in one night, I was literally done. He started following me just before his event, where he sadly lost out to gain a place in the final by 1 place! (he came 12th, where he needed to come 11th to compete in the final). I discovered he was writing a book, and I made a mental note to buy it when it came out. I bought it and discovered that he suffered from depression, and addiction to crystal meth, which made me admire him all the more, as he overcame all of his demons to become the person he is today, and I admire him for how difficult it must have been for him to write that when he knew thousands of people would be hearing about this for the first time.

Looking back on my old entries, I've found it amazing to see how much I've actually matured into an adult. Of course, I am childish most of the time, and 16 year old me loved boys like it was going out of fashion. I have to admit though, 20 year old me is exactly the same when it comes to boys, so I maybe haven't matured into adulthood quite yet. In the nearly 3 years since I've ever written anything on this, I've left high school, I've turned 18, I've partied, I've had fun, I can drive, I've met new people, and a heck of a lot more! 16 year old me has actually given 20 year old me such a laugh, even though my typing style was horrible (okay it maybe is still a bit similar, I blame tumblr), I loved seeing how passionate I was about things, and how fickle I was with boys, and no, I no longer fancy Lewis, although he is still a great friend to me.

When I thought about updating this I was actually so surprised about how much I have matured, I may be 20 but I am still a massive kid at heart!

update, it's been so long
