ohhhhhhhh my gosh there has been so much going on in life and so little time to sit back and just think about it or talk about it or do anything except get swept up in the delirium that comes with the end of vacation /o\
i feel like i have been fangirling extra hard to make up for all the weeks i was absent from the internet. and in between that i've finished up my internship, celebrated missporcelain's birthday, suffered from food poisoning after a food trip to medan, and watched my brother win a championship race in the philippines whilst managing to squeeze in a night of epically fantasmic proportions with etiam-exspecto, miss_charmed and ciudad. (which--i mean, HOLY CRAP YOU GUYS, I AM SO JEALOUS OF MYSELF RIGHT NOW, WHAT EVEN IS THAT. rae's recap is a thing of beauty, i don't even know. ESPECIALLY HER TAGS, HER TAGS MAKE ME LAUGH SFM. a++++++)
and then all this week i've been in and out the house meeting people and catching up and just being exhausted all over the place, ha ha. /o\
i got back from my trip early monday morning, and although i feel like i probably spent it out somewhere, my calender is telling me i spent it lazing around and this week has passed in such a blur that i'm not sure which one of us is right. (SEE THIS IS WHY I ARCHIVE MY TWEETS, SO IF I NEED TO CHECK STUFF LIKE THAT, I CAN. except apparently loudtwitter has been a complete dickface for, oh, THE LAST MONTH OF MY LIFE, augh, anyone have better suggestions?)
ANYWAY. i got to catch up with van and yun on tuesday, and then went to get my hair did:
which only took about, oh, four hours oh my gosh. and cost me more than half of what i earned at my internship. (although--considering that was supposed to be unpaid, the fact that i got cash out of it at all is a plus is my book.)
wednesday i spent with captureinsanity having brunch at hatched (terrible), then shopping at ion and cupcakes at marmalade pantry (amaaaaaaaazing), and then tea with two of my ex-colleagues at food for thought (food was eh, but the company was fantastic; i never realized you could miss seeing people so much after only two weeks).
i spent yesterday having our usual four-hour brunch with chengwei at our usual dim-sum place before he leaves for texas next week and then i mainlined the rest of community and also read 20,000 words of amazing all time low fic, because i am a sucker for bloodbelieve's work and will devour ANY OF IT I CAN GET MY HANDS ON.
today was spent learning the ropes of testing preschoolers at a faraway clinic D: and then coming home to watch bad teacher and enjoy the wonders of my laptop. the end.
