Dear Parents

As you know, we have a number of talented students who take time away from their studies to perform at a high level in a range of different sporting activities. Among them is Andrew Tang, who is rapidly developing a reputation on the international karting circuit. Following his IGCSE exams, Andrew recently travelled to La Conca in Italy to participate in the RMC Grand Finals 2010, also dubbed as the Olympics of Karting. In the Senior Max 125 category 72 national champions from over 50 countries fought for a place in the final over a series of five qualifying heats. I am delighted to inform you that he finished 23rd out of the 34 best of best drivers who made it through to that final race.

Andrew was the first Singaporean in all categories, and the only Asian in Senior Max 125 to make it to the list of top 34 karters, ahead of even the highly-regarded Japanese team. All the more remarkable is the fact that he achieved these honours in his first year back racing after an absence of four years from the karting scene, and in his first year in the Senior Max category as one of the youngest drivers. I look forward to following his progress in the future as he continues to make his way in this most competitive of sports.

maybe i am prouder of my brother than i am letting on, but the point to this entry is this:

principle-like duties are wasted on this guy. dude should clearly be an official resume-writer.

ahahahhahaha, things wot i am proud of, can we get a w00t w00t, omgwtf, family = ♥
