so apparently i really like writing big bangs based on films/tv?
because all along i've been dying to get started on my R4B1T au for rpf_big_bang, right, only my brain has kind of shrivelled after europe, and i'm not so sure that's going to work out at the moment. and then last night i'm watching poor prince taro--
Tarō Yamada is smart, athletic, and very handsome. He seems perfect on the outside, but he's actually dirt poor due to his mother's reckless spending habits and his always-gone father. Although never once does he admit it, everyone at school thinks he is a very humble rich boy because of his good looks. However, at home, he must care for his six younger siblings, who share a one-bedroom place with him and his mother.
WHICH HI. HIIIIIIIIII, IS THAT NOT THE MOST PERFECT PREMISE EVER OMG. FAMILY DYNAMICS ARE ONLY MY FAVOURITE THING TO WRITE. AND! what they don't tell you in this summary is that it gets BETTER. because the other lead is not, in fact, a girl -- although, okay, whatever, the girl in the show might argue otherwise but SHE IS CLEARLY WRONG -- it is a boy. A RICH BOY. WHO TAKES A SHINY LIKING TO POOR BOY BECAUSE HE WHETS HIS APPETITE MAKES POVERTY LOOK GOOD IS INTRIGUINGLY HAPPY. AND THERE IS UNABASHED EYE-FUCKING, AND SEKRIT SMILES, AND ALSO CROSS-DRESSING INVOLVED AND LOTS OF KIDS AND - AND--
