i have discovered that this is sadly true. although! it's not like i am in love with every track on the album, so i feel like my logic has not deserted me completely!

I didn't immediately like all of them, except for The Truth, but it gets better every time until I found myself playing the whole album on repeat. What does your logic tell you anyway?

my logic tells me i do not like rock music, bahaha. but my logic is clearly faulty. and i adored the truth! and also makeover. and silver was very pretty. gah, who am i trying to kid? i'm definitely going to be listening to the album some more.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I gave Archie's album a shot! Those boys sure know how to win us over. Haha. Woot! AH does makes me wonder if we could expect more songs like it in his next album. Hmm.

ahahahaha! oh, archie. that album was, um, unexpected. idk. i remember being completely unimpressed on first listen, but then it's totally grown on me now, especially after hearing some of it live. how did you like it?

and i sure hope we will. even if ah isn't my cup of tea, i want cook to be doing the music he wants to be doing. same goes for archie, which is why i (excitedly) anticipate more john mayer-esque music from him in the future! :D

I really didn't like Archie's whole album first time I heard it.I admit, even Crush got me annoyed for some reason at first. Following that up with Barriers wasn't the best idea. It sounded overproduced and I was all, WTF? People are getting excited over this? But yeah, like you they won me over after a while. I think it was when Zero Gravity came bouncing along, I needed to hear more of Archie. Haha.

Yeah! It's shame that their unreleased songs happen to be some of their best, at least in my opinion. They just need a little slack to strut their stuff without their labels meddling too much. So here's hoping for the best. :D

hee! oh man, i remember being really excited for it, and then not having those expectations met, but i probably would've kept on listening to it if i didn't have cook's album right there and so much more the kind of music i'd be willing to listen to. but still, yes. i think with tracks like you can and to be with you i was more willing to give the album a second listen (months later! haha!) and then realized it wasn't as awful as i remembered! score!

and ita with the unreleased songs stuff. except, okay, i pretty much think cook's album is perfect, so. this is more true for me for archie--i think i shall go give his unreleased stuff another spin. :D
