body language tells the truth, even from the grave

you know what's made of win?

when love for one person makes you watch shows for some reason or other related to said person (i.e jensen = christian kane + aldis hodge in leverage; david cook = "lie to me")

you know what's made of even more win?

when that love CONVERGES.

YOU GUYS, URIEL IS IN THE PILOT OF LIE TO ME. WTF JENSEN. WTF UNIVERSE! YOU ARE SO GOOD TO ME.

also, it turned out better than i expected. the script is sadly, ridiculously predictable (seriously, i was calling 70% of the plot points before they happened), but that doesn't make the premise any less fun/interesting, and the stuff they say about facial expressions is pretty interesting, if somewhat conflicting with what i've learnt in school! the exposition sort of gets on your nerves a little bit, because hand-holding? really? i thought we were past that! still, the main cast is kind of adorable (torres! ♥ eli! ♥ ♥ ♥). in fact, it's sort of like leverage, with the funky team dynamic and the sort of solving crime stuff, only not as awesome. very, very watchable, though.

so anyway the moral of the pilot? repression is unhealthy. as is (unintentional) jerking off to corpses. um, ew.

also, i am going to be watching ella/zun over the next few days. i can feel it. goddamn you, tw boys dramas. BECAUSE WU ZUN? FAHRENHEIT? REALLY? this is a slippery slope i'm treading.

superstah: i want a jensen, tv: leverage, fandom: little black box, for shaaaaaaaaaame, fandom: asian boys, what is this self-restraint you speak of, fandom: you and i collide
